Directional Technologies has developed long-lasting relationships with engineers and consultants throughout the USA. As an ongoing resource, DTI maintains regular contact with clients and DTI's staff is always available to discuss potential opportunities. Informal consultation and review of site characteristics will aid designers in assessing the appropriateness of HRWs for specific locations.


Geographic Reach

From its operations facility and office in Wallingford, Connecticut Directional Technologies can mobilize and deploy any of its rigs anywhere in the United States. DTI can be on site and operating within the northeast (EPA Regions I, II, and III) within a day.






Staff Qualifications

Directional Technologies has assembled a staff of uniquely qualified individuals whose combined experience is greater than 70 years. As a team, they have installed more than a 100 environmental remediation systems with a combined length of more than 60,000 feet.

To ensure quality, Directional Technologies Inc. established three levels of expertise for its staff.

  • Master Drillers can have responsibility for directing drilling operations; operating drill rigs; monitoring, locating, and tracking drill strings underground; installing, developing, and certifying placement of wells
  • Senior Apprentices operate drill rigs; locate and track drill strings, and assist in installing wells
  • Apprentices can assist in operating drill rigs, prepare and manage drilling fluids, and maintain drilling equipment.

The academic background and practical work histories of DTI staff members demonstrate a practical understanding of drilling, engineering, geology, environmental science, mechanics, fluid dynamics, and mud.
